There’s something about a Friday and a Jeans day at work that jus makes the day go so much smoother. It’s easier to deal with customers, its easier to deal with co-workers, breaks are just long enough and the day never drags on. Everyone is so comfy in their jeans; it’s a beautiful thing. And anything that goes even remotely wrong is followed by a “Thank God its Friday”. To me though, the ultimate best days I’ve had at work are when PAY days fall on the Friday of a LONG weekend AND a jeans Day, which maybe occurs maybe 4 times a year lol if we’re even that lucky.
So speaking on some bulls*** for a second. I got o do my taxes with my boy Chino and the lovely tax lady tells me how much im getting. I mean its no vacation but it would help. The thing is I have a part time job as well that I got a lil slip for, not very much but she mentioned that I absolutely have to file all t4 slips I get. Cool. But I didn’t have it on me at the time and mentioned I would come back the following day to finish up with her. Thursday comes along and as planned I head home to grab the extra spliff…oops I mean slip and I head down to my lovely tax lady (I believe her name is Helen or Linda) she starts punching numbers in the computer n proceeds to ask me the same questions she did 27 hours ago. So she gives me a number and I get a lil excited because I think that new number is to be added to the old number I had the day before, and it would then give me a new total (vacation worthy total). …..NOPE..i was so sadly mistaken. The new number was really the new number. Not to be added to anything but just to stand alone. In a matter of 27 hours of doing nothing but providing additional information, I end up loosing over $400.00 WHAAAAAAAAT!!!! How is that even ok??
Secretly I don’t really like Circa at all cause it’s so damn huge, but J is performing there this weekend, opening with Rich Kidd for The Clipse, should be a great show, I’m always excited to see him on stage with Rich (and Crookie from Smash) That’s my Sunday, other than that its gonna be a quiet weekend.
