Locked and loaded with the Family

So its T-minus 4 hours, all bags are packed, everything’s booked, there’s no turning back at this point. Road trip begins now. Initially as I was packing (in my head) I didn’t have much to carry at all, I thought I would be good with my Hays carry-on, but somehow the bags have multiplied to about 3.5bags. Im not even sure what I packed anymore but its in the bag. **Just throw it in the baaaag**.
So the rental is gonna be ready, I gotta pick up Juicy first, meet my car sitter at my place n then head to Fancy’s for all of us to meet up n leave by 1pm (1pm, 1pm, 1pm, not 2:30pm please) we got 2 coolers going full of…well everything. You’d think we were going away for weeks. But its only a weekend. In addition to the PS Fancy’s bringing her Wii and a few games, same with Juicy n Sina. LCBO run shud be underway shortly and I think the selection is pretty good. All in all im prepared to do this.

I’ve also managed to plan a lil family time (with my expert convincing tactics) we’re gonna get a chance to meet up with both my sisters down in MTL, get a lil party time in and just kick back. More than anything im excited to see my lil niece Eva. She is just the happiest thing in the entire world and can do nothing more than put a smile on your face no matter what. She has the biggest personality and hold better conversation that a lot of 24 year olds I know. LMAO. I also get to see my lil booger of a sister (Yanique in the pic with me) she jsut happens to be entering that "quarte life crisis" stage of her years, so i have some damage control to implement.I plan to make this a memorable road trip. Its my first one. Thanks to the Real Life ladies for breaking my road trip virginity! And our boys for voluntarily coming on this trip with us, only after we approve the PS request. Love you babe!....

I made the mistake of not burning any music for the trip. So im not sure what we’re going to be listening to. Hopefully enough convo will stir that we won’t need much but some ambiance music in the background.

So I checked reviews for this place on line just to have an idea of what to expect when we get there. Good thing I did or we would have some shit to deal with. So apparently there’s a shuttle that takes the guests to the hot tubs n those kinds of amenities. Now what most ppl didn’t know is that you have to pick up a key at front desk (during check in time). This key allows you access into the hot tub. Now what has been happening is that guests would take this shuttle (which didn’t run that often) down to the hot tubs only to find themselves locked out. Then they would have to return to front desk to ask for a key. The journey between front desk and hot tub requires a shuttle THUS letting us all know how NOT close it is. There will be no such mockery going on when we arrive.

The slopes await!!

Remstaar!
