Update

I know its been a while, I’m not even sure what to tell you I’ve been doing all this time that I been away, but I’m back and that’s the most important part. So this recent move I made from Mississauga to Brampton is starting to catch up to me and take its tole.
I’m so much more reluctant to go see people now, because they live beyond Brampton borders, and the commute to work OMG what a journey. It feels like I’m driving out of the village towards the mainland, and for some reason Brampton, as a community, they enjoy driving 20km below ANY speed!

I’ve had the opportunity over the past few months to experience something a lot of people don’t get to experience. I’ve had the opportunity to NOT fall in love, but to blissfully moonwalk into what has become the most rewarding and most challenging relationship I’ve had…in life, but I love it, every moment of it, even the shitty parts. If you’ve never experienced being proud to be with someone because you know they’re that good for you, you need to give it a try (to suggest that its that it was easy would be horribly wrong of me, but you have to be willing to take risks) anywho, he’s gone off to another country to do what he does best, and that’s create music. It’s going to be a quiet week, but I’m excited for the after math of all this.

So over the weekend I gave my girl Cri a lil makeover and she inspired me to purchase a load of make-up and start playing around with colors. I always play it safe with the same colors n techniques, but I got a few brushes so I’m gonna see what I can get away with. I’m excited. I did my hair, I’m not sure why I’m forcing it, but I just dnt like it anymore. So I’m about to cut my hair….again…and color it…again.
I’ve started a new project recently..me n my sister call it the “I don’t wanna be a fat girl anymore” project. It consists of me not eating everything, and actually trying to workout. I’ve started to do Taebo with my cousin Tara (she’s a great motivation). So far I’ve probably lost like 3lbs, but I’m sure I already put them back on the weekend. But I’m gonna work at it and see how far I can get. I don’t wanna log my food or weigh myself everyday, cause that’s obsessive. I want it to become a lifestyle after a while. I plan on working on this project until I’m comfortable with myself, and I can feel enough of a difference. I’m NOT going to follow a number, cause that’s irrational, numbers lie, doctors lie, media lies, the only thing that wont lie to me is my body, so that’s my goal. I’ll keep you guys posted…or not…but I’m sure we’ll be able to tell if a difference actually comes of this. Wish me luck

96 hours later.

So I’m not sure if “Eventful” is the right word to use; but DAMN this weekend was EVENTFUL!!!! Oh Canada, Oh oh ohhhh Canada! I’ve never really bigged up my Canadian Heritage (Unless I was in front of an American) but other than that, I’m not that patriotic. But this Win over the U.S was breathtaking. Boom Bam.
So not only did we kick Americas ass (it really doesn’t matter in what. W just won that’s all that matters) but I managed to be at my Loveys’ show, Fancy’s bday, and move all in one weekend without any damage being done.

The show was at Lees Palace. “Everybody’s Watching Me” now I’m gona be honest. The show sarted out a LIL slow, a few bodies sprinkled here n there. Majority were performers. But I was there to support J regardless. I show up with a few ladies (twirk it girls) we found our spot and began to mingle, shake hands, take pics, piff piff n sip while we waited for the show to start. Kemikal opens the show, built up some energy. Then Smash Brovas came out n had everyone bouncing, Sinot hosted us through the night and Rich Kidd to follow with an insane performance as usual, and Blake eased down the vibe n closed out the show. It kicked up pretty heavy by then in terms of attendance, heads were bouncing all over, bottles were swirlin n this night was drawing down to an end…but not before we hit up Garden (Spicy scrimpppppp!).

The move took a lot longer than I thought it would. I didn’t realize how NOT prepared I was until I had to start throwing things in boxes just to keep up with these guys. J brought his boy Res to come help out and they moved soo quick. Thanks guys!! My new spot is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It almost feels like home, but not yet. I still can’t believe I’m in Brampton! *Sigh*

Now somehow, the planets had aligned themselves in my favor and I managed to convince J to come out Saturday Night even after all the moving (with the help of Fancy of course). It was her birthday and she wanted Dinner with the ladies and Mama Fancy followed by heavy intoxication and inebriation at Mansion Nightclub! Her theme was “Its Barbie Bitch!!” only Fancy would come up with something like that. In her satin pink bustier and black n white polka dot high wasted skirt n some big ass hair, she twirled it all night Rockstar Barbie. Sina J did the classic red mini with the frills at the bottom with diamonds n curly locks, Obama Barbie and Miss Juicy J did the elegant black mini with the chunky necklace and the smooth waves Business Barbie, and your truly had the black n grey leopard dress with the gold accessories and the twisted Mohawk…I’m not sure which Barbie that is..cause im just not sure. But it worked out for everyone. Grampa came through, Daniel slept most of the time, Durrk held on most of the night and J was a good sport (but has now laid down some ground rules which I must adhere to for future partying) I had fun most of the night. We had a newcomer who was a lil lightweight but she managed to make it back to the car safely so hats go off to Ashley. But for me personally bottle service n booths just don’t cut it. The politics of the night club life are very ….im gonna say dishonest. But then again what should I expect.
J n I crashed in the basement n I fell asleep to a Kung Fu movie (apparently I missed a great one he says) but there was no way I was gonna hold on any longer. Sunday was easy, did a lil more packing and moving, laundry all that domestic shit. I took very good care of J as well. He deserved it, he did well this weekend. High five to real life!

Hey did anyone know there was a 8.8 earthquake in Chile this weekend?? Probably not we were all caught up in the Olympics, sad tragedy. We are the wold, part 2 coming soon I guess. **sigh**

Whats the point?

Juicy, Fancy, Sina J and Remi. The ladies of Obsessed with Real life. We've decided to now share with you what started out as a weekly ritual between friends. As we would share the random events, jokes, emotions and breakdowns of our daily lives we would always joke saying " …Dang we need a camera to follow us around with all this s*** happening, we need a reality show LOL". The subconscious intention of this show (in our heads of course) would bare no similarity to what we see on TV. This would be raw. Un-scripted, no make up, lights or editors involved. It would be easy to relate to, insightful, informative, fun and just plain real. It would be Real Life.
The ever perpetuating obsession with partially scripted "reality television" these days has done nothing but cloud judgment on reality. The closest thing we have to a friend like the ladies on “the Hill/The city” would be our longtime girl Jilliann; Ryerson student by day, struggling fashion designer by night…Our purpose is just to share our real life stories and experiences on a daily with all our readers and followers. We’ll also give you the opportunity to post your own events, concerns and thoughts on our blog as well as any questions or even advice you may have for one of the real life ladies. Real Life begins now!
